

Chigaya KATAOKA graduated from Japan Women’s University in Tokyo and began her Art career almost two decades ago in Paris on avenue Matignon with the leading gallery Yoshii. Then, she worked at Gallery Tamenaga as assistant to the Director where she assisted many important deals and had good relationships with prominent international artists. Since establishing CKG Fine Art in 2015 in Hong Kong, Chigaya KATAOKA has worked as an Art agent on numerous acquisitions, as well as supporting artists and advising clients as buyers and sellers. In addition, Chigaya has worked for over 10 years as the official agent/manager of the late French painter Gilles GORRITI to organize his exhibitions and handle all his business negotiations in the world. She very much enjoys counselling her clients regarding researching the authenticity of artworks. She assists L’association Paul Aizpiri to establish the certification. Chigaya is participated in various notable international Art fairs in Europe and Japan such as the Paris Biennale. Foremostly, Chigaya's future plans are focused on continuing to support art projects that she loves.
